XLPE Compounding or Pelletizing

Crosslinkable polyethylene widely used for cable insulation of middle and high voltage.

We not only have compounding and pelletizing system for two-step porcess, but also have one-pack system which is updated process and is already used in our customers factory.
>Two pack processing system
This is a typical process that is to make Compound A (grafted PE) with a long L/D ratio twin screw extruder, and use a small twin screw extruder for making Compound B (Catalyst), finally the finished Compound A and Compound B will be packed with seprated vacuum bags for the downstream silane xlpe cable extrusion.
The main parts include twin screw extruder, gravimetric feeder, pelletizing system and vacuum packing system.
